Aj Green is one hell of a talent and when he is on the field you could classify him as a game changer. One slight problem with him though and its no secret, the guy cant stay on the fucking field. How many times has he been out these past few years for extended periods of time? Ding Ding Ding youre correct, the answer is way to much. That being said we all know what he brings when he is healthy and on the field at 100% so what teams could be in the market for his services? Lets find out
Steelers- The Steelers have had a rocky start to this season with dealing with the departing of Bell and Brown and one would think that was a big enough hurdle but lets add Big Ben getting hurt and being on the shelf for the rest of the year, James Washington hurting his shoulder and bound to miss a few weeks. Jay Samuels getting a knee scope and set to miss a month, and now Mason Rudolph getting murdered (I legit thought he was dead) and in concussion protocol. Where does this leave us you ask? 1-4 and already looking to next season. What could save that you ask? How about a top 10 wide out to compliment JuJu and help take the pressure off James Conner and the run game. Steelers have made a bunch of moves on the defensive side of the ball so maybe a nice little upgrade at wide out is just what Steelers nation needs. The chance of the Bengals trading a talent like Green within the division seems unlikely but hey its happened before.
Vikings- its no secret that Diggs isnt happy in Minnesota and wants out but the Vikings have publicly come out and said they werent interested in dealing the talented wide out. Cousins is struggling and the Vikes window of opportunity is now so if the Bengals came calling and tested the Diggs for Green and a throw in draft pick would it be enough to entice the Vikings to switch it up and try and make a culture change? The Bengals would have to worry about playing Green so it may be a nice little swap for both squads that could use a change and soon.
Saints- Another intriguing one here for sure. The Saints want to win and they want to win now. Brees is on his last leg and any weapons that could add to the high powered offense in New Orleans would be very welcomed. Imagine Green and Thomas on the outside with Kamara in the backfield and Brees slinging the ball. That alone should be a Saints fans wet dream.
Giants- The Giants are in shambles and no one can argue that. However they have some good young talent and lost OBJ this off season so they could use a real number one wide out for Daniel Jones to throw. Barkley is gonna keep defenses honest and that would work to the strengths of Green to get open so a fun young offense would keep butts in the seats for the Giants and make them exciting to watch again.
Redskins- Yeah lets be honest no team in the NFL is in as bad as shape as this shit show. No QB worth a fuck for this season and a coach they just embarrassed and sent packing. Guice is injured again and Peterson is father time so other then Chris Thompson who is average at best and a wide receiver core that anyone outside of Washington cant even name, this team is the laughing stock of the NFL. Owner Dan Snyder has a reputation for making big splashes (most of which never work out) so it wouldnt surprise me to see him go after this to try and get the fans back on his side.
Patriots- This right here just pisses me off to even have to think and write about this. The Patriots always find a way to get talent on there roster and this wouldnt surprise me in the least. With Antonio Brown gone and Gronk having retired those are some big shoes to fill. Insert Billy B and his crafty way to acquire players. Of all the spots I can see Green landing this is the one that I think has the highest probability and the one that pisses me off even thinking about.
